Sprint to offer AAA ID Pack
For those Sprint customers who do a lot of driving, the carrier is offering a new AAA ID Pack. This ID Pack offers a ton of features for travelers including the TripTik Mobile app that uses the GPS on the phone to point out nearby landmarks and AAA-rated hotels, gas stations, restaurants, and attractions. The Discounts app shows when and where AAA members can receive discounts. The AAA Insurance app helps take you through the process of obtaining info after a crash and helps you with the process of submitting a claim.

"AAA members value the peace of mind membership provides including access to roadside assistance, travel information and AAA’s safety tips. Accessing these benefits just got easier with the launch of the AAA Sprint ID Pack which enables users to download all AAA apps and links at one time."-Marshall L. Doney, AAA National Vice President, Automotive, Financial Services and e-Business
Most people have AAA just in case they need roadside assistance and the Sprint AAA ID Pack doesn't fail in this regard. You can use your phone to ask for help and leave pertinent info like such as vehicle description, location, and a description of your problem. You can even seek out AAA-approved auto repair shops. And if you are a AAA member, you can get activation fees waived from Sprint and receive discounts on monthly service from Sprint.

The AAA ID Pack is available free for selected Sprint Android models and does not require the user to be a AAA member.

Well, as a former employee of Sprint (current customer) and current employee with AAA as in Insurance Agent, this is good stuff. I love all the AAA apps, though I probably won't use the ID because I go rooted of course and delete as many stock apps as possible.
