Sprint to match Verizon pricing on Touch Pro2?

This article contains unofficial information.
If you are a Sprint customer who purchased the Touch Pro2 within the last 30 days at the higher price, you can return the phone and repurchase it at the new, lower price. If you ask nice enough, you might be able to avoid all that and simply have the Sprint rep issue you a credit to your account for the difference in price. With the two CDMA versions now going for $199.99, it should be interesting to see if T-Mobile joins the crowd, and what AT&T will do when it launches its' version as the Tilt2 on October 18th.

This is the best news ever, wish the same could be done with the original and Diamond. I really hope they fix the pricing on the HD too and not price future phones out of range either

Ya I hope they do drop the pricing on the Instinct HD also. I've been waiting for the HD for a long time, but with a price like $250 its just plain expensive. If the TP2 is dropped down to $199 that might force me into getting a TP2. Its just too good of a deal to pass up. I might pick up a TP2 right after Oct 1 and try it out. If I fall in love with it I'll keep it, what seems odd to me is the local corporate Sprint store doesn't have a TP2 on display. So I might buy the TP2 and wait to try out the IHD at the corporate store then decide which phone I want more. The only phone I want more than the IHD is the HTC Leo tho. Damn, 4.3" of awesome.

I know it doesnt have the full qwerty, but you dont think the 5mpx camera with flash and HD video on the Instinct HD are enough reasons for you to spend 50 bucks more than you would a on TP2?

Why are you yelling? Yeah we get it, the Hero is sweet. The TP2 is aimed at a different type of customer so calm yourself
