The latest edition of the Sprint Playbook has a header that shows a big clue about when the carrier will launch the HTC EVO 3D; the header says, "Week 4: HTC EVO 3D-Glasses Off, 3D On" which could be a clue that the highly anticipated smartphone will be released in the fourth week of June...

Sorry guys...I work for sprint and this is the playbook from the week of May 25th...the fourth week in May. Each month during May they featured a new featured sprint phone. Arrive, Echo, Replenish...etc. Nowhere in there does it even mention the word June. Hope you guys are wrong...I WANTZ IT NOW!!!

I also work for Sprint and can confirm msilv88's post. However, I do know that my call center will be undergoing training on the Evo 3D and Evo View as early as 6/7/11. If the pattern holds true, as with the Nexus S 4G, Samsung Epic 4G, and even the Evo 4G itself, then we can expect the Evo 3D to be released 2 - 3 weeks later.

sprint is currently offering a $125 bill credit to port your number. the offer ends june 23. my sprint sales rep thinks the 3D won't be released until after the $125 offer expires. so, june 25th? (the nexus was released on a saturday) if so, i guess you could port your number before the 23rd, then return your phone for the 3D. restocking fee of $35 would mean you'd be ahead $90.

Hey guys, I'm a Manager at a sprint store in NJ.
I been waiting for this phone since announced. We been taking preorders for about 2 weeks now, are staff has been training for the release of the two Motorola handsets coming out in first 2 weeks of June. The Evo 3d is next on the list, my documents don't say a date but we have a shipment coming in on June 13 so keep your fingers crossed that it is the evo 3d .

i believe this guy. notice he spelled "manager" with a capital "M." on the downside, i'd hate to work for him.

I also noticed that he misspelled "our" with "are" but who cares, no one is perfect.

i agree because sprint probably realized the amount of new customers that this phone will bring to their company and has decided to hold off until the promo is over.
Also, i work for the connections center at a major retailer ie radioshack best buy walmart or target.

The heading at the top of the magazine means the 4th week of May, the week the magazine was made. I still say June 4th-June14th. My only question is, has this phone hit the FCC yet? If not then, no wonder it hasn't been released yet.

I don't know why someone saying they are a "Manager" makes their testimony any more credible than anyone esle's. But, if it makes that much difference I will point out that I am an Operations Manager in my call center. And, after looking at the recent FCC Approval of the EVO 3D, based on the timing of our center's training and the approval, the June 24th date looks to be likely when considering the big releases that we have had in the past.
