Sprint to get the Nexus One?

Why shouldn't the pin-dropping network join in the fun, especially since a CDMA version is already expected for a March launch on Verizon...

I think google needs to learn from it's first missteps on the N1's release, and realize they don't have the resources to sell and troubleshoot a device. The fact that I can't purchase my Nexus 1 through verizon and be able to rely on their customer service may be the thing that pushes me into getting a droid instead of a nexus. Google is touting that these are "unlocked" phones, but in the end, there is no difference between other devices. You pay a discount price if you sign a contract, and full retail if you don't. If google wants to make any headway, they need to worry about the OS, and let the carriers worry about selling the phones.

Unlock for CDMA carriers? What good does that do?

and i thought i was happy with my hero until the supersonic dropped.. but this changes the whole landscape. im so getting this if it comes out in march. the added 5 inches and processor upgrade makes it worth the money.

Don't get me wrong I think the Nexus One is an option for me but I think I'm going to wait and see what Apple or Palm come out with mid this year.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Nexus One is an option for me, but I think I'm going to put a third comment here for no reasons.

This phone is too good for Sprint's BS network.
