Sprint still trying to get the BlackBerry Tour to customers
Sprint sent out three posts on Twitter aimed at potential buyers of the BlackBerry Tour 9630. The carrier has had some problem getting the unit in stock, and apologized, while at the same time asking for patience from customers. According to the "tweets", Sprint received more inventory this week and a new shipment of the latest RIM handset is expected early next week. Sprint is putting the blame on strong demand and says it is working with RIM to meet the "needs of every customer as quickly as possible". Both Sprint and Verizon launched the device on July 12th, as we reported.

what happend was that sprint didnt officially launched the tour that day, they did direct ship. also, sprint never had the intention of physically launching the phone. it was only to compete with verizon

It's kind of like when a big brother gets to go to a concert and then the little brother starts whining about being old enough to go to the show too. Then the little brother gets completely overwhelmed and ends up crying in the corner completely unable to deal with his surroundings. /never happened to me, but a guy I know...yeah thats it
