Sprint tells customers that the carrier will be rolling out Android 4.0 on certain models via an OTA update sometime in 2012; meanwhile a mailer sent out to promote the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX mistakenly shows the handset with Android 4.0 installed...

I think that that image with the Droid Razr with ICS is faked. I don't really see why they would put the on-screen buttons as well as having the capacitive buttons at the bottom.

xD i got the pamphlet in the mail with that picture and i got a chuckle out of it. i'm running the leaked ICS build and i assure you that there is no on-screen function keys.

Thank God that Sprint is finally giving some assurance that we are getting ICS. My Epic 4G Touch is getting jealous.

Please change this title. The subject is "Sprint", not "ICS", so when you use "it" you are referring to Sprint.
You're sentence currently reads:
"Sprint says ICS rolling out this year while (Sprint) mistakenly adorns DROID RAZR MAXX on promo"
Not a grammar Nazi, but at least string a coherent sentence together if you get paid to write here.

that would be great if he was referring to Sprint when he brought up the MAXX fail. what the Author did here was blend two subject matters into one article. first the Sprint Update Information and then he went on to talk about how Verizon made a Photoshop whoopsie with the Droid Razr MAXX .

I read the article, thanks. I wasn't talking about the subject matter, I was talking about the title and it's grammatical error.

well if all you're doing is correcting his grammar maybe you should make sure your porch is swept too. it's "your sentence currently reads:" not "you're sentence currently reads:"

I don't get paid to write on this website. That's the point. What's so hard to understand about this? You seem to be having a real hard time wrapping your head around this.

does it really matter so much? i wouldn't pay you to write if that's the case. don't be such a stickler about it. we got what he was saying.

Lol do you not understand how careers work? I'm a software engineer for Motorola, I wouldn't ask to be paid to write. It's not what I am good at and try to do for a living. But anyone that writes for a paycheck should at least have grammatical skills.

i understand perfectly how careers work but his is none of your business. you seem to think you're good enough to think you can go and correct a writer for a silly thing like that so maybe you just missed your calling. oh and instead of correcting people's grammar on the interwebz how about you go and finish up ICS for the Razr. i'm ready to stop using this leaked beta from you guys. ;P

I kind of wish ICS would roll out to the Galaxy S II within the 1st Quarter...

interesting how they call it Droid razr maxx Instead of just calling it razr maxx, the Droid name is licensed by VZW. is sprint paying licensing fees to for it???
