Sprint revises down HTC EVO 3D video capture specs; party with the EVO 3D and Radio Shack

0. phoneArena 16 Jun 2011, 22:45 posted on

It seems that a typo in the spec sheet for the HTC EVO 3D made it seem that the handset would record and play video in 1080p in 2d and 3d; Radio Shack is throwing a party for the HTC EVO 3D and you're invited...

they should have made it a 12megpix camera instead. sprint should have made their flagship a topnotch phone in all aspects...they should have made a average 3d phone to see how 3d would be taken in by the consumer....not a good idea to dumb down their money maker

probly would not run as well and be choppy. Thats a lot of processor power neede for that. Another thing is that megapixal does not mean quality thy higher you go.

I don't understand why it can't record 1080p 2D video like it's sister (the Sensation) can?!?

I'm sure there will be an OTA so it can record 1080p 2d video

People EVERY phone when it first comes out is NOT perfect. There will be MANY over the air updates to fix or improve the phones performance. I think it's all going to be addressed & fixed. The Samsung Galaxy S II is the most powerful phone out & if I am correct it has received a couple of over the air updates to correct & improve the phones performance. So that is just the nature of the phone business. The R&D department can only test so much. The real life scenarios can never be duplicated in a lab. So I am sure once the phone is released there will be prompt updates, especially from one of the MOST reputable corporations in the world HTC! This 1080p issue will be addressed & corrected. This phone is getting good reviews from reputable websites, & yes the 3D might be gimmicky but it’s still fun do to from what I read. The phones performance is the actual highlight. I can’t wait to put CM7 on this beast & really see it fly!
