Who cares Sprint is a dying company just like Palm. It looks like they are both making a last hail mary pass to see if they can keep there heads above water. May they both rest in peace as far as I'm concerned

Man this comment up here just gets old every time someone says it. I just got one question have you heard of either Sprint or Palm filing for bankruptcy? If you haven't then why would you say they are a dying company? If you have PLEASE post it up here for everyone to see it, i would LOVE to read that article.

Your funny you should be a comedian lol....palm is def in danger of folding but sprint still is pumping. Have they been struggling yes for some years but they still have a pretty descent amount of customers. Lets look at the bigger picture...sprint is its own entity, verizon wireless is owned by vodafone and at&t has been around for a long time. Im sure if sprint had a bigger brother they would be quite alright. To reply to CHUMPUM response sprints plans blow Verizons out...i work for Verizon and it would cost me about 60 plus dollars to get what i get for Sprint. As far as the article alot of customers are with at&t cause of the iphone alot of customers are with verizon cause of the bb storm. Of course those are not the only reasons why both of them have alot of customers but it is intringuing to have an exclusive phone. This will be Sprints first and i hope they resign the rights and keep it. Everyone that says the Pre is overhyped and its going to flop lol.....thats funny cause the Ceo of at&t and verizon obviously dont think so and are trying with everything they got to get it 6 months in advance. So all at&t fanboys and Verizon fanboys dont have anything to say about it no more. The End lmao

WOW sprint is still pumping? they lost millions of $ last quarter and have been consistently losing hundreds of thousands of customers every single month. How do you sell phones for Verizon and not know anything about other carriers. You are probably terrible at your job and the only way you sell is by commiting fraud

I hope everyone realizes Verizon never said they would have the Pre, they said they would offer Pre Like Devices. So I don't know what Sprint is crying about.

Who cares, the end result is still going to be the same. Verizon will have the highest adds and sprint will have the highest churn. Different chapter, same story.

Very well put, I think sprint is hoping that the Pre will save their life. Palm is hoping the Pre will re-establish Palm devices.

my comments always get deleted...even though sprint is being ..., we still want them to succeed and stay a float because we still need variety in our wireless industry!

well with trimming 15% of their employees and still seeing only red, while they bleed customers, they need all the exclusives they can get to survive another year. the pre may be new and hot, but how will it stand up in real world to its competition. palm has an insaine amount of catch up work to do. i dont care about any phone till i see it and mess w/ it myself
37. yourmom07 posted on 01 Jun 2009, 13:51 0 0
THE EXCLUSIVITY FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR AND NOT LONGER ISN'T BECAUSE SPRINT WON'T DO THE PALM GOOD ITS MOSTLY BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW PALM PHONES HAVE BEEN WHACK AND THEY NEED AS MUCH EXPOSURE AND COMPANIES SELLING IT THAT THEY CAN GET TO BOOST THEIR COMPANY UP AFTER THE FLOP OF THE TREO AND LAME CENTRO. AND SPRINT SAVES YOU OVER TWO HUNDRED WITH THEIR PLANS COMPARED TO VERIZONS RIDICULOUSLY HIGH PRICED PLANS OH AND WE GOT THE PRE EARLY..THAT PHONE IS OFF THE DAMN HOOK IPHONE WHO?

This is for vzfanman, smartphones don't have access to tv and radio while only the BB's and a few others have GPS unlocked. No vzw bundled plan comes within $5 of Sprint's and even still you can't use it on a smartphone. My mistake, the bundled messaging can be used but you still have to say $30 for data and more to get nav
