Sprint really, really wants you to be its subscriber. In fact, Sprint wants your business so much that it is ready to give you money just for using it services. Up to $400, to be more precise, is what the carrier will be giving to its devoted customers, if this spy shot of a promo flyer is to be trusted...

I tried Sprint again in 2010 after a 9 year hiatus from their network, you couldn't pay me a billion dollars ($1,000,000,000) to switch from any other carrier to endure their outsourced Customer Service Calling Centers; you know, the calling centers they have in India, Malaysia, Philippines, etc, where everything is scripted, you have a bad connection and the rep' answers everything you say with everything you say.
Funny thing, the flyer above shows happy red-blooded Americans.
No thank you Sprint, keep your dis-Service.

I know. And, I really wanted that EVOOO. But, I got so fed up with their calling centers that I cancelled after 5 months and sold the EVO for a hefty profit. Hey, I almost gave up my Verizon Unlimited Data Plan; good thing I suspended my VZW line while I bed-hopped over to Sprint those five months.

sir thats the past haven't u being keeping up lately they been on the top #1 customer services for quiet a while which would include call centers now i dont know if they have call centers in those places you named but i do know they have quiet a few american call center and personally can say i have great communication with. Plus its better than paying all the extra high prices then VZW & AT&T. Of course everybody entitled to their opinion. Think you going over the top for no reason though. Personally think anybody will except a million dollar for something as simple as that.

Based on your syntax, Sir, you must be typing your "Reply" from one of their call centers in one of the aforementioned Far East countries. Sorry, but your Customer Service is abysmal. And, no you didn't win J.D. Powers; it's been Verizon for the past three years. Sprint did, however, manage a P.R. stunt a couple years back when they were so gratuitously given some sort of J.D. Powers honorable mention.
That's why Verizon has the lowest churn rate, check your facts;
Sprint has one of the highest dissatisfied customer bases, check your facts; and, lastly, go work on your writing skill set.
By the way, I only have one friend who has Sprint and is happy. Everyone else I know who has Sprint is extremely frustrated. My brother's friend bought the Sprint GS3 and guess what, they didn't tell him that he would have no 4G initially, he's stuck on 3G; wants to cancel, pay the ETF and go with T-Mo'
Oh, footnote, my Unlimited Data on VZW is $24 (monthly) and my voice plan is $29.74; how is that 'high priced'?

Your plan isn't high priced, but you have an old plan. If I wanted an equivalent plan to what I have on Sprint, I would have to pay $110 according to the Verizon website. If I could pay what you pay, I would be on Verizon tomorrow! haha

Well, you must not be on top of your info either. Verizon has had the best Customer Service for 3-4 years straight. Sprint has had the best "improved" customer service. I am not sure where you get your info from but they still suck, they just suck less now!

I do not know why, but I have never gotten a foreign call center when I call Sprint for help. I guess I am lucky. I've only called them 3 times in the almost three years I've been with them, but every time I have gotten someone who speaks perfect English. The last time I called was last month.
Maybe the confusion is from the fact that Sprint HAS won JD Power top honors in Customer Service for two years in a row, but it is for their service during the purchase process. They have finished 2nd in post purchase Customer Service.
Also, if I am not mistaken, Sprint and Verizon tied for customer service in 2011. And Sprint was one of only 40 companies to win the JD Power Customer Service Champion honor. US Cellular and T-Mobile were on it, Verizon was not.
In Vocalabs Sprint won.
So, maybe we should all just agree that whether you have Verizon, or if you have Sprint, they are both better than at&t (based on statistics)

I totally agree. i wanted the Evo 4G and they kept screwing with my bill. They had me on their "spending limit" and they cut my phone off even when i made a payment arrangement. the moer they did that, the more pissed off I got! So i switch to AT&T and never looked back. I dont care if they offer everything for free..............they can keep their outdated, slow, lame ass service because their business practices are flawed and they can keep it. the only good thing about sprint is unltd data.....and even that is becoming slower than the other 3 major carriers.

I switched to Sprint from Verizon and all I can say is thank god for wifi or I would have an HTC made ipod touch. Sprint's 3G is horrible, and who knows when Columbus, OH will get LTE.

first of all, im not a kid. secondly, i liked sprint till they screwed up my bill and didnt care to keep me as a customer. I'll admit that i miss the rate plan, BUT you DO NOT mess with me when it comes to screwing up my phone bill
you can love sprint all you want, but at the end of the day, they dont deserve my sympathy with the crappy deal they got from Apple to get the iPhone. i know, damn well, that they didnt need the iPhone. they were doing fine with the motorola and HTC phones they had.

The days of giving customers credits for their own mistakes is over at Sprint. I doubt you left over a billing error. Because if it was a Sprint error it would of been fixed.

I have a question for you. I was a loyal Verizon customer for approximately 15 years and recently switched over to Sprint. I was very dissatisfied with Verizon customer service. They pissed me off, and I had just gotten fed up and cancelled service and went with Sprint. Now, the plan I had originally had in place with Sprint was unlimited everything, but LAN line minutes. I believe the plan included between 300 - 400 LAN line minutes. After the first month, I was not comfortable with this, so I called the Sprint store in Bayonne, NJ, where I had purchased the phone and activated Sprint service, and had asked if they would change my plan to increase my LAN line minutes to somewhere between 900 - 1000 for an additional 20 dollars. The person I was speaking reassured me everything was taken care of. When I received my bill, it was $271.00, and I was quite taken back. I called Sprint customer service and explained the situation to them and got the run around. Honestly, I thought a credit would be issued and they would just change my plan to the so called "unlimited everything plan" and that would be the end of it. And they did not. A 40% credit was issued toward the "overage" and that was it. And to boot, the customer service rep at the Sprint location in Bayonne, NJ, never made the changes I had requested over the phone with him. Honestly, Verizon Wireless would have issued the credit and changed my plan without hesitation. That is about the only positive comment I can honestly say about Verizon. I would like your input. Should I have handled the stuation differently with Sprint? I would appreciate your input. Thanks, NJgirl

I doubt that collection agency paid them more than 25 bucks to buy that debt, less if it was part of a bulk debt sell-off (like it usually is); so, yeah, Sprint got it (screwed) in the end and I got to keep my Unlimited Data on Verizon - Thanks, Outsourced Sprint.

they had you on there spending limit because you have poor credit. if you pay on time and have a good payment history usually that goes away systematically. if you are doing payment arrangements you should not be thinking of getting a new phone unless you are caught up with you bills. **just saying** also why would you switch to a company that is more expensive then sprint? when you are already behind on your bill/s? by the way sooner or later you always pay what you owe.. especially when you are trying to get financing for a home, car etc... to many customers over the years have called to pay what they owed to clear up their credit.

Interesting, I have NEVER had an experience like that in more than 5 years. Not saying this is your case but I know a lot of people got upset when Sprint stopped giving all of the retentions perks that would spread like wild fire on forums and would flood their call centers with people asking for credits or free stuff. IMO that was a good move, many people thought they were entitled to stuff like that.
It seems within the last few years I have seen a lot more positive comments about Sprint Customer Care from regular customers and now they are actually at the top according to JD Power and ACSI.

Thats funny, I have yet you get an outsourced person. The people I speak with are eithr in Oklahoma city, Texas, Colorado, or Florida.

SO the promo is really a trick to get you in the store , because virtually no one will qualify and they take al your other rebates away.

I remember working at Sprint. Had to lie to all these customers and say their network was good and their 3G was great just to get them to sign up.
