Lmao did anybody really buy the Echo? That phone was a disaster. I tried to play with it but the black bar in between the 2 screens were so annoying. As for the EVO 4g, since the EVO 3d came out people have been getting the EVO 4g for free and done nothing but complain about poor battery life. I have the 3500 extended battery on my 4g because of bad battery life. But I have had my EVO since it 1st launched back in June 2010, so mine has done a lot for me. It's my main access to the internet. Sorry to see it go, but all good things come to an end

I like the idea in what the Echo was trying to do, but the fact that it was made by a Kyrocera kinda killed it.
Probably going to see Samsung, HTC, Motorola build off of the idea of 2 screens. MAybe this time, better specs meant for 2 screens.

I see no reason an Echo 2, or a copy from another company can't succeed. There have been quite a few apps that have been optimised for 2 screens now, so there is sure to be another attempt to capitalize on the idea. (And by a lot, I don't mean thousands, but dozens, and mostly the ones that really take advantage of the two screens) And it really isn't such a horrible idea, just a little rough in its first version.

Finally glad the Evo is gone. Hopefully people will stop asking about it, because that's all they want.

It's a good thing that a phone that has proved to still be great long after it's life line and people still want it? Oookay....

We still sell a ton of these phones. It's your stores fault for not carrying it and making you more money. You pretty much just said you don't like money. This phone has had such a good run and it's awesome Sprint had a chance to get it's hands on it.

Think Sprint can get David Blaine back for the Echo End of Life ceremony, just for old time sakes??

That's right Sprint, clean out the crap and bring in the cream of the crop, the iPhone. We all know customers want a premium phone that's capable, and the iPhone is just that.

So the battery life on my EVO isn't the best, and WIMAX hasn't done squat for me where I live, nor rarely use it in NYC. Still.... Best freaking phone I ever had, converted my wife who was all gung-ho for an iPhone, now could care less about the iPhone 5, and was one of the few phones which for some time was "the phone other android phones were compared to".
EVO & Android - Works for me.
Next phone? 2nd gen quad core :)
