Sprint launches Treo 700wx

Palm has finally launched the Treo 700wx - Sprint's version of the 700w that is available with Verizon. It has the same specs as the 700w except for the double amount of RAM now 64 MB. So the device is a dual-band CDMA phone with EV-DO support sporting candybar design with stub antenna. It features a 65k color 240x240 pixel TFT display, 1.3 megapixel camera and full QWERTY keyboard. The device runs on a Windows Mobile 5 for Pocket PCs, with a 312MHz CPU, SD I/O expansion slot and Bluetooth and Infrared support.

Palm's Treo 700wx is now available on Sprint's web site at a price of $499.99 with a two-year contract.
