Call it yet another blow to RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook, but their partner in Sprint appears to be dropping out from offering a 4G WiMAX enabled version of the tablet. Obviously, it’s a surprise to everyone, especially when it was announced...

What if sprint is waiting for LTE to become more popular to launch the playbook ?..

LTE is already very popular. That is not a valid point. If you're talking about Sprint and Lightsquared's LTE plan, by the time any of those tower's are built the Playbook will be outdated.
