It seems that June 18 is the date for two new Sprint PCS phones: the HTC Mogul will be numbered as the PPC-6800 and will replace the 6700 (HTC Apache). Mogul doubles the RAM memory (from 128 to 256 MB), increases the battery time by 20%, the camera resolution from 1.3 to 2 megapixels and slims down the body with 1/3 of an inch, also removes the antenna. It will run on Windows Mobile 6 Professional (ex Pocket PC) straight out of the box and an update in Fall 2007 will upgrade the EV-DO to Rev.A.

The price will be $550 or $400 with a two-year contract.

The Red color version of the UpStage will also come on June 18. It keeps exactly the same functionality and price of $99, so the only new thing is the color of the housing – red instead of black.

The upstage sheet says you need a 2 gb card that is not sold at sprint, that is completely untrue sprint stores sell 2 gb cards for $59.99. since this is an internal document(I believe) that's a pretty big goof.

This is from a member of the group in Sprint that prepares these devices.... The 6800 will be launched first to the Business Channels, and then will release to the Retail Channels on July 17. In addition, the Retail release will provide the Sprint Music store, which the Business release will not have - among other small items...
