ahh.. its about time we upgraded voice service. it hasnt really changed at all other than moving from analogue to digital (which is actually a little worse sounding but way better on bandwith)

It could be analogue depending on what country's spelling you're using

Lol no, not in this case analogue is a literary term; an Analogue is a literary work that shares motifs, characters or events with another, but is not directly derived from it.

Three unique lte offerings later this year. Verizon with better coverage, att with hspa+ to fall back on, and sprint with better call quality and unlimited data. Choices. choices.

Call me when sprint's network actually gets turned on to LTE.

Its actually already on, just no phones yet. Know what you're talking about before you post.

Ill do one better. Ill call you after its turned on and in enough areas to be useful.

or just do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER get sprint....horrible company
they dont have phones that use their 4g lte yet (which is basically the same thing as NOT having 4g coverage)
I only wish Sprint would have not made crappy business decisions years ago. I dont ever see Sprint being a big factor in wireless and not worth my money or time

I suspect HD voice will make its way to other handsets (and carriers) before too long. Maybe by 2013?
6. remixfa posted on 09 Apr 2012, 14:06 0 0
it should be common soon at least on high end handsets. Its something that comes a long with the better LTE bandwith usage.

Maybe HD voice wil make its way to VZW in time for Fall, 2012, and AT&T around Spring/Summer, 2013?

Sprint just focus on getting a LTE network up and running with some decent coverage before you start with all the bells and whistles. Putting a Noise Cancelling Earphone on a cell phone doesn't make it HD Voice. I think this is just a gimmic, because if not AT&T and Verizon would have been all over this 6 months ago.

THey recently upgraded half of their towers to get better and more stable 3G data, are working on the other half.
They are implementing LTE and will be up and running with several tens of millions PoP's covered by the end of the year.
HD Voice is actually a thing, allowing transfer of sound waves from 50hz to 7+ kHZ, covering almost all the spectrum of human sound.
It is a huge difference.

"Putting a Noise Cancelling Earphone on a cell phone doesn't make it HD Voice"...??!! If you think that's what they're doing, it's time to do some research !!

HD Voice is nice! I have my WiFI Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus set up with sipdroid and google voice. Make calls over wifi using HD Voice and everyone I talk to say that I'm loud and clear. So I think that Sprint HD Voice is going to be great.
