Sprint confirms the Overdrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot for $99.99
Share:
You might recall that we recently reported that Sprint was planning to release the Overdrive, a 3G/4G mobile hot spot. The device will allow you and your 4 new best friends to access Wi-Fi as long as they are within 100 feet of the unit. The 5 users can all share the content of a microSD card and the device also features GPS. As for cost, the Overdrive will cost $99.99 with a two year agreement. The product is made by Sierra Wireless, just for those who care about such things. Now you have no more excuses for not calling like, "There was no signal" will no longer be valid.

So you will be able to download all kinds of great things and share your connection. So are we going to see a better data plan like the truely unlimited data plans that we used to have? I cant see using this unless they lift the 5 gig cap.

It's only 5 gigs on 3G. 4G is currently unlimited.
