I agree with you James. Sprint wtf are the new phones everyone but sprint showed any cool upcoming phones at this year CES. My contract is up in May I been loyal for 13 years and this is all you guys got so far this year two upgraded crappy phones OMG. This might be the year I leave SPRINT. I love the plans and the prices but the lack of phones is killn me.

Because these aren't Hi tech PDA devices, that doesn't mean they can't be cool phones. You guys need to stop whining... They're suppose to be low end messaging devices.

You can't get the Pre, Hero or Moment, they're Android phones that are going to be upgraded with Android 2.1 soon and the webOS is going to be upgraded soon also.

Dear Sprint upset customer you should be patience because probably Sprint its cooking something , maybe by the time that you will leave ,Sprint will bring soemthing good.

yo Steelrik Sprint really does need to step up there game. I think Palm shown today at CES made me a proud owner of the pre but it does make me happy with sprint but it will keep me with them a while longer but contract free.

Me thinks Sprint is focusing on their Network for faster connections and the eBook Reader in order to integrate their wireless data, which I think is brilliant more than anything, why not focus on aesthetically pleasing phones? It seems as though the Anrdoid phenomena early this year making every techie cream their pants for the now, but it pales in comparison to the average joe who are not tech savvy. Just because they're not on the new android phone bandwagon doesn't mean they don't have anything up their sleeves later this year, remember the gadgets of today become obsolete after 6 months! I bought my Instinct S30 last year when it came out and it works for me just fine, and I am sure there will be a new model coming up again this year. Patience is sometimes a virtue!

James, I was thinking the same thing. What the hell is this supposed to be? Sprint had the balls to say that this was a must attend event? How can T-mobile and ATT pull off top rated phones, while the only company with a nation wide 4G network has 2 so-so Android devices and an old as hell WM6.5 brick. What the heck is the 4G network for, sending text messages. Verizon may be on my short list...

If this is the best they have then they can send them back, come on people this is ces 2010 you dont need to showcase mid level phones here you can launch them at any time. Phones like the hd2 and the google phone are what alot of us are looking for i know there is a market for these devices, but to showcase them here is an insult to the intelligence of some of us here iam sorry. Look at what vzw and t mobile are doing if this is albout competition between carriers then this year might suck for high end sprint users sorry if i offended any one but this is a damn joke.

Apparently they the HD2 and new google phones didn't get your attention enough since you're spending so much time here...

Ok, trying to be objective. I know there is a market for low end devices, and I also know that these devices are moving forward in tech just like the high end beastly smart phones, but this is CES. I mean, yea we can showcase low end phones, nothing wrong w/ that, but I've got the feeling that these are the only devices Sprint is banging out at this event, which I'm sry to say, sucks a bit for the Sprint crowd. But, remember, this is all in comparison to the news coming out of Vzw, at&t, and related to Tmo [I don't think they had their event yet, but HD2 and Nexus one to Tmo is big enough].
