DOES THE HIGHLIGHTED PART THAT SAYS "SAMSUNG/BOOST M540 HANDSET" MEAN THAT BOOST MOBILE IS ALSO GETTING THE SAMSUNG RANT? THAT WOULD BE AWSOME!!

14. rhomaion posted on 08 Jan 2010, 23:26

Probably...

2. htc_prep posted on 08 Jan 2010, 14:28

once again nothing spectacular for sprint. this is makin my jump to tmo for the hd2 a tidbit easier unless that a9292 is a code name but tmo exclusivity pretty much cancels that wish. can we get something jaw droping and EXCLUSIVE? i mean the instinct was nice for a second... for the average joe but it runs off java... great plans. awesome service. outlandish data speeds. yet average phones... or phones that everyone has. try snagging some european and asian phones if youre not going to help a manufacturer from the ground up.

15. rhomaion posted on 08 Jan 2010, 23:27

I know what your saying because I was watching where the HD2 goes too but Sprint always finds a way of getting the best phones with a nice little added different design.

22. clamknuckle posted on 21 Jan 2010, 16:57

You would jump to T-Mobile for the HD2? What happens when Sprint gets a phone called the Diamond 2, which will be the same as the HD2, with a different name, thus, letting t-mo have "exclusivity", but still letting other people have the phone.

I AGREE htc_prep !! BEEN WITH SPRINT FOR A LONG TIME AND WAS HOPING NEW SPECTACULAR DEVICES WILL APPEAR FROM CES 2010...BUT THAT WAS A BUST.....I GUESS SPRINT WANTS TO LOSE MORE CUSTOMERS BECAUSE I AM ON THE VERGE OF SWITCHING CARRIER.

Think about it, why over saturate the market with Android phones? AT&T felt the pressure now they're adding Android phones which is now going to compete internally with their iPhone, because they exclusivity contract ends this year, so yeah they're in a panic, Google is dipping it's hands into multiple manufacturers'. What could be better other than building the 4G/WiMax network? If you build it they will come!

10. htc_prep posted on 08 Jan 2010, 22:35

its not a matter of android or not. its just give us something that everyone else doesnt have but with features that can actually complement what people want. a nice different ( not candy bar) form factor w/ a 5 row keyboard. im not a corporate fat cat, nor a teen texter. but thats the selection they have even though i have a pro 2 and hero im comming up on my rebate and i want something to make me want to stay with sprint. whats the point in enjoying what they offer if you dont like the phone..

16. rhomaion posted on 08 Jan 2010, 23:29

Then why are you not looking at a Palm device. It's uses the BEST os of any device by any manufacturer including Apple. I know because I have used them all and this one just takes the cake plus at CES 10 they clearly demonstrated the graphical capabilities of the webOS.

18. htc_prep posted on 09 Jan 2010, 10:05

i have i used to work for sprint. played with it a month before it was released. i loved the original palm OS and the treo line esp the 755. but they offered a pre as a replacement for my phone. not even in the same realm.

an HTC 4G phone isnt exciting to you guys.... wtf?

5. Rhetoric posted on 08 Jan 2010, 17:09

An HTC 4g Phone is not exciting no, 4G is in like 2 cities, a pair of towns, and an unincorporated municipality. No one will be able to use it.

7. phone333 posted on 08 Jan 2010, 18:48

"4G is in like 2 cities".....What planet you've been living on ??? Sprint offers Sprint 4G in 27 markets, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Portland, Ore., San Antonio and Seattle.Abilene, Texas; Amarillo, Texas; Austin, Texas; Bellingham, Wash.; Boise, Idaho; Charlotte, N.C.; Corpus Christi, Texas; Greensboro, N.C. Honolulu; Killeen/Temple, Texas; Lubbock, Texas; Maui, Hawaii; Midland/Odessa, Texas; Milledgeville, Ga.; Raleigh, N.C. ..and more.

17. rhomaion posted on 08 Jan 2010, 23:31

PRADA 3 - I've been waiting to hear more info about the Prada 3, that one really has my interest. Thought it was going to be a highlite of CES. I was eligible for a new phone in November, been waiting for Sprint to come out with something awesome.

21. DonLouie posted on 11 Jan 2010, 08:38

I've been eligible since forever, was holding out for a smartphone w/qchat but now that's cancelled WiMax is my next move.

Well sprint is going to be exclusively releasing phones like the HTC Knight touchscreen and qwerty keyboard, and ATT has their version of the HTC HD7 thats out but sprint will be releasing its own version, perhaps better things will be included with it...
