Spotlight: Cool Tool is a super-deep Android app for system stats maniacs
At a glance, Cool Tool is pretty much like any other Android system information app. It presents the usual list of "know thy internals" data, stuff like CPU usage and temp, free RAM, web traffic, battery info and whatnot. It can also reveal the most resource-intensive running processes and launch a task killer.

Cool Tool will also let you diagnose any processes that are too resource-hungry, monitor full-screen applications via the floating screen widget, make your battery level permanently visible, or watch your CPU governor juggle frequencies depending on the load. You can also press the 'Show Panel' button to enable a floating dashboard that can be dragged over the screen or double tapped to open settings.

But that's hardly all there's to it. The available information can be customized and color-coded via no less than nine panels of toggles and gauges presented in old-school Android Holo style. There are also eight color themes, while other pieces of functionality include backup and restore settings to the cloud, along with a bandwidth limiter and the possibility of a second SD card path.

For a free and ad-supported app, Cool Tool is packed to the brim with useful resource monitoring tools. Use it in moderation, or risk falling victim to system overanalysis!
