Samsung has officially released Spotify for users of the Gear S2 and Gear S3 smartwatches. The much-anticipated app comes a little over a month after Samsung's latest line of wearables bacame available and you can now download it from the Galaxy Apps Store.

The Spotify client was announced as a feature back in August, and a lot of users expected to have access to it with the release of the Gear S3. This, however, was not the case and the delay frustrated people that bought the device for its audio streaming capabilities. The Soeul-based manufacturer later assured customers that the app would become available in mid-December and has now successfully delivered on that promise.

This iteration of Spotify allows users to pair their smartphone with the Gear S3 and control their audio content from the smartwatch. In order to install it, you need to access the Gear Manager application through your handset and search for Spotify in the Galaxy Apps Store. The app may still be unavailable in some regions, but should become globally accessible by the end of this week.
