If Motorola's phones start shipping with stock android, I think they would receive more sales, considering a lot of people prefer stock android over most android skins, such as touchwiz. I personally liked Motorola's overlay, but some people don't. Anyways, they would still be unique to any device other than nexus devices, because no one else uses stock android. Also, they have unique designs for phones. This may be a good idea if Arora becomes CEO.

Stock Android only makes sense for a post-merger Motorola. I do not know why they would invest more money into a skin overlay when Google would own them. It also makes sense Nexus branded devices will be Moto.

As for the CEO position, Google owns it, it should be who they want. If Mr. Jha does leave, he will be out of a job for about 15 - 20 mins. He has done a great job turning around Moto. Can you imagine what he would do with a company with resources, like maybe heading up LG's mobile division?

Motorola's 3D shimmer effect when sliding the home screen is kinda cool and their Smart Actions I think are better than the lame options for data that Android 4 added. Integrate those into stock and lose the rest and I'm good. Moto's email app is horrible. Others claim it is better, but it is based off of an early and buggy stock email app and IMAP doesn't work. I don't like any MFG's Social Media integration...WinPhone does better at that than Android.
