We've witnessed a series of awesome smartphones get announced these last few days. Last week we had IFA 2013, where Sony unveiled its new flagship, the Xperia Z1, while Samsung introduced the third iteration of its phablet series - the Note 3. As hot as these device are, though, there's a phone that can easily steal any other handset's thunder, and that's the iPhone. With today's introduction of the colorful iPhone 5C and the flagship iPhone 5S, Apple has once again turned the spotlight in its direction...

The iPhone has had its run and it no longer innovates. Its design is boring and hasn't changed in quite a long time. The user is forced to use iTunes in order to do anything with the device. There's no expandability in the device whatsoever (no, icloud doesn't count) and its screen is so small that it becomes counter productive when trying to use the device at the workplace.
The Apple ecosystem is so locked down that no user feels like they really own their device.

Another apple fanboy. You just close your eyes and keep your head spinning with iPhone things whereas your environment has changed and make something better than iPhones. Wake up dude

I'm not a fan of those smartphone brands. What matters to me is the feature it'll offer. IMO, Samsung GALAXY Note 3 is my choice. Useful for me as an architecture student and designer.
