He is a Sony Hater... so he always need to say something negative about Sony...
Just read a more recent article about how the "best display on a smartphone" statement is not exagerated by a truly objective PA author

You guys, you know the problem with you?... you start running your mouths n fingers without even having any practical experience...May be in Z2 sony fixed their display which we will see after the release of Z2 but just for general knowledge, go to some mobile phone market and put htc one, galaxy S4, note3, lg g/g2 or any pro, huawie highender, any other brand highender with xperia Z and Z1... and then you'll experience how visibly inferior sony display was... this is an easy experiment, you all can do it instead of just start running your mouths with the wonderfulness of sony out of ignorance... dont make youself sound like your mouths n fingers are out of your control n start running automatically on their own

The guy has the option of carrying around any phone in the world that he chooses & he uses an Xperia Z as his daily driver. Yet, people like you still label him a Sony hater. I'll never understand the depth of the stupidity of the people that post on the site. Even more, I fail to understand why I continue to interact with you. Sigh. -__-

Hey, why most of you are bashing Ray? Its me who asked a question which goes negative towards Sony... as a matter of fact my question was nothing unture... curse me for highlighting the negative point of your favorite brand if it makes you feel happy

The fact that he has a Sony phone as his own, and he's speaks
his honest oppinion about Sony displays tells me one thing:
he is cappable of beeing impartial and objective.
Î’esides, can anyone deny the reality of the sales?
Let's see in the upcoming comparisons how well Sony did
this time with Z2. I hope it outperforms all flagships.

For the ones that curse and say vote him out (under their anonymity)
it has been well said:
"...for out of the abundance of their hearts their mouths speak"

Dont give a darn and move on, Ray.

They can say anything they want about Sony, but they still make good phone. I have to say Sony has been missing the mark for a few years now and I really hope they can turn themselves around with the Z2!!

Let them and those who have paid them enjoy themselves.
Everybody agrees that Sony did a great job these last 2 years.

At all.

Sale number doesn't translate to product quality. Samsung GS line is the hottest Android devices out there, but yet there are so many people complaint about its build quality and buggy OS. iPhone in the other hand, puts out good quality product, but old school OS. (Not trying to bash iSO here, but it hasn't changed much since the first iPhone came out). Yet, it is hard to denied iPhone is the hottest phone in the world.

Good question by Wildtwinviking.
Difficult to answer though. Need to be true, as well as not get certain users angry.

Sony seems to have solved their display issues. Nvidia has an uphill battle against the entrenched giants. Look at Intel for example. Samsung's cameras aren't that good. The phones are successful. The camera's are just mediocre. The note 3 is notably not good in anything less than bright sunlight. Bad flash. Without it the camera has an extreme difficulty focusing. This is a software issue. Using some 3rd party camera apps solve this focus issue but low light is still dismal. But, think of the competition? Smartphone cameras in general suck with very few exceptions. Low marketshare Nokias and sonys. The later may change with Sony fixing their screen issues. I'm just waiting for the day to dump my Note 3 for a phone with a better camera. Nothing out yet that compares feature wise that I'm willing to give up for the better camera yet. Crossing my fingers for a Z2 on Tmo. Apple and Microsoft are just too locked down. I like to tinker too much.

The cameras on the S4 was extremely good, I don't know what you're talking about. It easily rivaled the LG G2 and iPhone 5S in quality, despite being half a year older. LG G2s only good selling point was OIS. It also outperformed the Z1 20 MP camera and that gimmick 4 MP camera in the HTC One. Apple and Samsung are the only mainstream companies that do inane processing right.

LOL it outperforms Z1 camera only in your dreams. Actually it's unlikely to happen even there...

I'm afraid you're dreaming, the only thing Sony did better with that phone was the megapixel count lol, the Z1 has crappy image processing software. That's why Apple/Samsung and sometimes even LG take better looking photos using their same camera module components

I know that Sonys processing needs improvements, but since the sensor is so much better, it still manages to take better pictures

No mention of Sony's terrible battery stamina management. We all know how short and fast draining they are when you operate Xperia Z lineup.

Z1 has good battery life. Z was the only one with under average

ZR was pretty decent in battery life... Z1 Compact is outstanding for the size.

The title is really my question :D
I remember When i first saw the screen of xperia z and z1 i told to myself what kind of screen
It has,its very dull for a flagship phone.
Sony should beat samsung when it comes to camera but why does samsung has the superior camera no matter how many megapixel sony adds.
