0. phoneArena 29 Apr 2013, 07:42 posted on

Sony recently revealed its newest Triluminous display tech that uses quantum dots, or nanocrystals so small they have quantum properties, and are emitting light just at preset wavelengths. This boosts everything - from a 50% larger color gamut, to brightness, contrast and so on...

u r spot on. because they are solely based on android and the competition in android world is the greatest. to shine in android pool they need to differentiate them And as far as i know they are doing so. they are likely to reintroduce walkman series and cybershot series in their portfolio.

G Pro is far from being more productive and overwhlming than note2.. even phonedog battle, note2 beats htc one bcoz of what it offers..

look at this stupid fanboy I'm talking about LG Optimus G Pro you talking about HTC One.
The only things that G Pro doesn't have is Stylus. But guess what G Pro have sensitive screen just like S4.

G Pro beat Note 2 in every aspect even G pro have Smaller footprint and a tad lighter body

G Pro have better design, better hardware, better feature its just better nothing more nothing less.

Pls think more, I mentioned abt htc one bcoz even though htc one has d 2013 specs, n2 still beats htc one bcoz of the prodctvty it has.. and u cant change that, all n2 users will say d same..

What feat does g pro outclassed n2??

everything because G Pro have same feature like S4.

With Wacom stylus you can use G pro just like Note 2

I dont want to mention d dfferences coz I dont wanna type long commnt, im sleepy haha.. g pro have d advntge of 2013 specs but phablet exprnce nd prodctvty is far superior with note2, g pro js just a big great smartphone.., dont make me wrong with thT coz note devices defined whats phablet for me

Like always keep talking BS.

You just can't accept that Optimus G pro is better in any way, and Note 2 is inferior compare to G Pro.

G Pro is better both in phablet experiance, and pruductivity
even without Stylus.

Ok, maybe I'm wrong, those two Sony phones aren't the killer. But you need to accept the fact, Samsung is not gonna win forever, other manufacturers will defeat Samsung someday!

Yes, Note 2 is still the king......yet, trust me, Samsung is not gonna win forever! The Note 2 will be defeated someday!

it will defntly be a galaxy s4 killer for more advanced tech bcoz it is a future device, but whats wrong is "note3 killer" coz both arent yet official,, and note devices are on their own league of battle and actually d most unique and productive android flavor yet, togari myt beat n3 if they will use stylus w/ more refined and productive experience :)

Sony will have many great display option.
1.Triluminos with Quantum Dots.
2. JDI OLEDs with RGBW (like Sony White magic) its said to be better than Samsung Amoled.
3. JDI White magic with high contrast ratio of 2000:1 and about 178 degree viewing angle.

And once again Samsung ''The Follower '' will follow Sony ''The Innovator'' step by using Quantom Dots

the asnwer is still the same,
those reviewer need money too.
In one tech site the reviewer said samsung is better and on the other tech site other manufacturer is better than samsung

And many other devices received a lot of praise

for example some reviewer said S2 have bad build quality because too plasticky and S2 get more hotter than the other devices

Samsung has been on top of this since early 2011. I wouldn't say "the follower" is the most appropriate wording to describe Samsung... After all, they have been "the leader" for quite some time now! Give credit when it's due and careful not to push blasphemy when it's not!

nokia has been on top apple has been on top everybody can be on top.

The words ''Follower'' because samsung almost all the time adopt other manufacturer technology not invent the technology you understand now???

u cant understand...

what made s2 and s3 and note devices stand out are not adopted technologies!!! they pushed hardware specs into boom that made them recognized!!, they defined Amoled better and people loved it!! they put stylus into a new breaking ground!! they optimized Sony's sensor better than Sony can do!! They revolved software optimizations and features in a smartphone before others implement in a smartphone.. :D

haha....
Did samsung is the innovator of Active Matrix OLEDs screen with pentile matrix ??? No.

Did they the first one who used OLEDs panel?? No.
The first PDA with OLEDs panel is from Sony.

S-pen samsung using WACOM Digitizer

Optimized Sony sensor what??? Samsung using Sypnatics technology just like Nokia but Sony developed the tech

big.little in Octa core is ARM innovation

do you want more???

''Samsung the adopter''

Innovator is different from inventor.., all things uve said are all abt who invented those tech., they adopt but the story will not end there, optimizing, defining and implmntng in a smartphone in a more defined and advancec wayh that other manufacturers cant achieved is mgnfcnt.. if other smrtphones, do have those topnotch integrations then why ddnt they succeed, and here u say marketing, but ij wud ask u, why the reviews praised or gave magcal words to s2 s3 and notes if those tech are already defined in other manufacturers way..

Why is "Retina Display" being called a technology... It's just an IPS LCD with a special name because of its density. Maybe call S-LCD3 technology, or IPS in general.

Retina display its not a technology... it is a marketing name for high ppi which Sony surpassed early last year. You should have said SuperLCD or IPS... or whatever among Superamoled instead.
