Sony-only brandred smartphone makes a cameo in the latest Resident Evil trailer - zombies still want brains

Needless to say, there were probably plenty of people satisfied by Sony’s announcements during CES, especially when we saw two delicious devices expected to be taking up just the Sony moniker – the Xperia ion and Xperia S. Of course, there are still those who yearn for more.
Interestingly enough, there is a special cameo by a Sony-only branded device in the latest movie trailer for the popular Resident Evil movie franchise. Right away at the 0:10 mark of the movie trailer, we’re presented with an individual holding onto a distinctive Ericsson-less Sony device that has the clear evidence of being something from the Xperia Arc line. Nope, there are no zombies biting his arm just yet to steal away the smartphone, but if you watch the entire thing, you kind of see how advancing technology turns the entire planet to a zombie-infested place.
As much as the zombies want to take precedence in all of this, it’s actually the first time we’re seeing a Sony-only branded device – without the Ericsson name attached to it. Although the phone in the trailer doesn’t necessarily allude to some sort of next-gen Xperia Arc, you just never know what kind if trump cards Sony has under its sleeves. Well, we’re sure the zombies aren’t going to tell us that information.

hmmmm real nice 2 for 1 ad. One half sony ad and 1 half movie trailer.
Sony really cutting down on spending.

At xperia blog it was rumored to be an HD version of the Arc with a 4.55" HD Screen. Still just a rumor though. . .

Sony, the undead, and a whuppin evil leading lady. Ahhh, yes, thank the stars that Award season is over and we can get back to quality movies where they can blend such great things....
