0. phoneArena posted on 19 Jan 2013, 18:42

What excitement is there in Washington D.C. and we are not talking about the upcoming Presidential Inauguration; the FCC has just had its hands on the phone that received the biggest buzz during CES, the Sony Xperia Z with its 5 inch FHD display, 441ppi pixel density, quad-core proceesor and the ability to withstand getting dunked in H20 without breaking...

The first photo I think it's Xperia zl not z. As you can see the volume buttons are near the top and the phone seems to small to be z. And it seems like the camera is at the bottom too.

It is a Z. Why? Because the ZL has a camera placed at the center and in the image above in number 1, you can see that the camera is placed to the left so that means this phone being ripped off is the Xperia Z

If I were Sony I would give Michelle Obama a Xperia Z, she will use it and take pictures of her husband taking oath.

Then a promotion campaign will follow: The Z, the Inaugural Phone

Instead of ripping it, they can give it to me

Title a little misleading. I came on here expecting something bad.

Man I didn't realize the Z had a sealed in battery! Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really like this phone but non removable battery is a deal breaker for me. I need to be able to quickly swap out batteries one of the reasons I don't use Iphone , used to love HTC til the one series, and now Sony too. I don't like this trend in the industry.

The trend is so they can make the phones thinner, which IMO is stupid. It is a ribbon though so it would be easy to switch if you needed to replace it.
