Sony Xperia X Compact leaked specs include 4.6-inch display, 2,700 mAh battery

With less than a week until the official announcement, the Xperia X Compact partial list of specs has been exposed. Along with Xperia X Compact, specs for another Android smartphone that will be announced next week, Xperia XZ, have been revealed as well.

But first things first. The highly-anticipated Xperia X Compact is said to pack a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, but there's no mention of the amount of RAM. Since the smartphone belongs to the Compact series it will come with a smaller than usual display.

The report claims the Xperia X Compact should sport a 4.6-inch display, but there's no info on resolution yet. However, we do know the smartphone will be powered by a 2,700 mAh battery. Last but not least, the unannounced device will feature USB Type-C port.

Next in line, the Xperia XZ is rumored to include a similar quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood, coupled with 4GB of RAM

A 23-megapixel camera assisted by two LED flashes and a laser autofocus assures that users will take high-quality pictures. Moreover, you'll be able to take great selfies too, thanks to the 13-megapixel front-facing camera.

Sony Xperia ZX comes with a larger 5.2-inch curved 2.5D glass display and should include an USB Type C port too. No word on battery though.

Both the Xperia X Compact and Xperia XZ will be officially unveiled at IFA 2016 on September 1, so stay tuned for more on these handsets.
