Remember the Sony Xperia Touch? It's the interactive projector that Sony showed off at MWC, and it's marketed as a device that can turn any surface into a touchscreen of up to 23 inches in size.

Since we have yet to review a unit, we can't know how well it actually works, but the concept itself is pretty neat. Turning your coffee table into a full-size Android system whenever you want sure does sound like something we'd like to be able to do.

The good news for European customers is that, starting yesterday, they are be able to achieve it. The Sony Xperia Touch interactive projector is now on sale on the Old Continent. However, prepare to sink some serious cash if you want to buy one.

The Xperia Touch is exclusively sold through the Xperia Store, and it comes with a rather serious price tag. UK customers can get it for £1,299.99, while other regions of Europe will have to pay €1,499.99. Both of these price tags translate to just under $1,700, which is a bit on the expensive side of a projector.

The Xperia Touch is currently available in UK, France, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. It is expected to roll out to other regions around the globe in the coming months.
