This is pretty stupid actually. Yea, you can take a PSP around, but most people don't want a PSP unless they are into more gaming. An iPhone is actually a really great alternative considering how some of those "big boy" games are now on them. People have cell phones and thats all they want in their pocket, with as many features possible. Plus, 9.99 for each game can get pricey. You can find gaming apps for .99 cents. If anything, I don't think they should be focusing on the iPhone as much and start focusing on the Nintendo 3DS.

This isn't just a shot at the iPhone, but every phone out there (including Android) that has the ability to play games on it. I have a PSP and a Droid X with SNES, NES and Genesis emulators on it, but I can't tell you how much better I prefer physical buttons to onscreen "virtual" buttons. Liked the add, but think it misses the mark, especially when the "big boy games" are fucking golf, racing and a quiz show game. Gimme a break!

Tell me about it...onscreen controllers need work. For this very reason, i stay away from any mobile phone game outside of the basic games.

I get what you mean, but I wouldn't even categorize those kind of games with the ones on the iPhone or even Android. The games on the iPhone have a much different way of being played - by touch, and not with a stylus. All the games pretty much utilize that as their main control, which works perfect. Games that require controls like a joystick or buttons are understandably better on the PSP, but what about those games you can just use your finger for? If I wanna play an RPG, I'd play on a PSP, but if I wanted some fast easy fun, I'd just play with an iPhone or iPod Touch. You can actually make faster actions (in different situations of course) with touch vs. buttons/selecting. What about the six axis thing, like the game super monkey ball? That's used in a whole mess of games too. I have a Nexus and I know what you mean about the emulators. It sucks, but its good enough considering its cheap and easy without the big long form factor the PSP has in your pocket.
