Sony Mobile Swedish headquarters moving back to the Tokyo mothership, 15% job cuts on tap

Sony will relocate its mobile division headquarters from Lund, Sweden, where they had been due to the partnership with Ericsson, back to Tokyo. 650 job cuts are expected initially because of the relocation, for a total of 1, 000, including consultants, or 15% of the Sony Mobile workforce, by March 2014...
