Sony Ericsson still hasn’t announced its future line of phones, but
obviusly they do not guard them as well as Apple, as information for
several of the devices leaked a while ago. Now even high-res photos
with the phones are available.
The Sony Ericsson W880 was “announced” at the CES, but no real information was officially released about it, only a picture crop. Here are a few photos of it, compared to a lighter, which reveals how it really is. The W880 will most probably be tri-band GSM + UMTS for Europe, and not usable in the Americas. The display is rather small but with QVGA resolution and the camera is 2-megapixel unit. Other functionality should be similar to previous Sony Ericsson models from the class.

The K550 is another 2-megapixel shooter, part of the mid-level segment. It has smaller 176x220 pixels display, M2 memory slot in addition to the 64MB built-in memory and features FM radio. Also a tri-band GSM for Europe, this model lacks 3G support.

The latest new phone is the Sony Ericsson W610. Judging from the "W", it is obviously part of the Walkman series. It will be quad-band GSM with no 3G support. The W610 should be a mid-tier device, with specification similar to those of K550. The phone is 100% real, as it is already FCC approved.
