Sony Ericsson gives Android a new look with the Rachael's UI
As we reported earlier, a demo video of what is said to be Sony Ericsson’s personalized user interface for Android has surfaced. Basically, the UI introduces some nice visuals and smooth animation transitions that definitely add to the experience, but do they add to the functionality of the operating system? The manufacturer seems to have reworked it all – from the virtual QWERTY keyboard to the messaging screen. In fact, the Rachael's interface has a comfy-looking screen that allows you to browse through almost all of your content in a snap, including music, photos, SMS messages, e-mails and calls, as well as correspondences through Facebook and Twitter. We give our thumbs up to Sony Ericsson’s new software and hope that the manufacturer will announce it soon. It looks like HTC will be facing tough competition in the world of Android interfaces.

this baby is gonna cost a fortune...but who cares...i'm gettin it... processor is upto 1ghz, and its android - supposedly since android is linux essentially, its supposed to run faster and doesnt take a lot of memory or clock-speed whatever, so its gonna be crazy.... dont think SE is gonna win-back much of lost-ground 'coz like i said, this thing is gonna be more than a bag of money...

I just hope that SE makes a US version, like they did with the Xperia.

I just hope that SE makes a US version that gets picked up by a carrier and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
