Just when all hope was almost gone for any future updates for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, something truly surprising happened to the under appreciated Windows Mobile smartphone. Sure most of the attention may be found with the Xperia X10, but the official Windows Mobile 6.5.3 update for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 is finally here. We've reported a while ago on how the update was still in the horizon – especially when the Sony Ericsson Aspen came along sporting the latest build of the platform. So if you happen to be a happy Xperia X2 owner, you know you'll be jumping up for joy knowing that its arrival is finally here. Just be sure to backup all of your data before proceeding with the installation of the update of course.
