Wow september; are the engineers at sony ericsson really that lazy and incompetent? Sorry to sound so negative but this is getting really ridiculous; Sony Ericsson's slew of delays, inaction and a bunch of contradictory statement has run its toll. There is no way in hell that I'm getting this phone; not because I don't want to (because trust me, ever since it was announced I've been drooling all over this baby), but I simply refuse to pay money to Sony Ericsson's sloppy, sloppy business practice.

Agreed. I'll go for a Nexus One or another Android before I wait until September for this to arrive in the US ( _if_ they manage to get it out by then ).

Those engineers are sure LAZY and INCOMPETENT... September is nearly half an year away and the X10 will fall WAY WAY WAY behind as technology gadget in these days are just too crazy.. What the hell is SONY thinking?? And by the way, I thought SONY has already confirmed that even with Android 2.1 update, the X10 will still NOT getting multi-touch support. SONY needs to make bolder move on their flagship smartphones to win more market shares, but SONY is known for their slow pacing so I doubt this will change any time soon.
