Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 appears in quick promotional video
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is the Joint Venture's first Android powered device and could very well be the flagship device for the manufacturer. While that is all well and good, Sony Ericsson will be measuring success on how well this model sells. The Xperia X10 seems designed to challenge the current trio of smartphone superstars, the Apple iPhone 3GS, the Palm Pre and the Motorola DROID. To get to the level of outright device lust which all three of these phones had just before launch, Sony Ericsson is going to have to brand the phone and its' features into the public consciousness to the point where excitement and desire for the phone peaks right on launch day. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this promo does the phone any justice in that regard. With just a fleeting glimpse of the X10, there is nothing seen in the video that the public can sink its' wallet into and say, "Me Want!" Of course it is still early and who knows, the next promo could be a winner. Now if we could only get that "Here on the Island of Misfit Toys" jingle out of our head.

Well I had to register here just to answer this news. According to Video Maker this is an in-device video, which means it has nothing to do for local promotion. Purpose of this video is to demonstrate the video and sound quality of said device (X10). It will store inside the handset to run within the device hence there is no clear image of handset itself anywhere in video but the vibrant colors and really amazing soft music.

Maybe you like that ringtone mate, that ringtone is so common. But you rarely hear an iPhone ringtone in normal places except fancy places.
