the parts issue, the constant delays and the lack of a huge commercial campaign was the killer (they suffered the android manufacturer syndrome) plus they dint called the average geek attention with that single core and such limited memory

xperia play was another case of too much hype that turn out to be nothing but a dud. maybe xperia play 2, if SE decide to come out with one, could address some of the complaints against this phone foremost of which is the lack of dual core and not so great camera.
