Sony Ericsson Shakira is dancing its way to be a mid-sized Android phone?

There are a bunch of things that come into mind when a handset sports a codename similar to a famous international music artist, but the Sony Ericsson Shakira was recently spotted in China flaunting a pristine white exterior. Although it may not have been shaking or dancing its way onto the scene, it's expected to be a medium sized Android smartphone that should fit just right in between the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and X10 mini. Although there is a leaked image of the handset that's temporarily going by Shakira, no other specs are known about it except for the possibility of sporting an HVGA display and Android 2.2 from the onset. However, this Android smartphone is rumored to launch some time in the fall with some alternative name that may not be as obtrusive.

sony ericsson always names their phones weird names.. this one called shakira the next one is most likely also gunna have a weird name.. i can already imagine it ''sony ericsson announces the sony ericsson J-lo and sony ericsson madonna'' most likely something like that will happen ...

they should put on that 2.1 and multitouch, else will be the same or worse than real X10
