Sony Dot Switch Android app hints at March 6 "Make TV" event on uniform sharing across its gadgets
Sony outed its Dot Switch website the other day, just as promised, and the app is live on Android Market, hinting at more to come March 6. Dot Switch seems to be the commercial name of its "four-screen" strategy that aims for "effortless sharing of content with easy connectivity across multiple screens within the world of Sony"

According to Google's clunky Japanese translation: "DOT SWITCH", the app to control a TV or PC, such as participating in "the other side of the screen." Screen for screen for viewing the program and (= TV), participating (terminal = tablets, smart phones, such as a PC) enjoy everyone together. Take advantage of, "DOT SWITCH" apps "MAKE TV" special live show on March 6, 2012".

What we make out of this incoherent translation is that the "MAKE TV" event will focus on how you can share stuff with and control your Sony TV via your Xperia smartphone, computer or tablet of the same brand, and vice versa across the "four screens".

We should know more fairly soon, but it seems that Sony has some big plans to suck you into its gadgets, gaming and entertainment universe, and Dot Switch might be just the start of it all.
