Sony’s undertaking is going in a totally different direction! Enter the innovative Sony Cyber-shot DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 lenses. Basically, they’re producing dedicated lenses that can be used independently, or “tethered” to smartphones or tablets. All of the hardware is naturally tucked...

Battery life wise: 25 minutes of continuous video recording - 220 still shots or 110 minutes of continuous use.
But wait just 25 minutes?

What is the sensor size? I could see this as being really neat. Especially if they develop ip58 models.

1 inch. It's written everywhere. Search for RX100 (QX100) reviews or Sony TX30 (QX10), it's the same sensors.
