Something big is brewing for Palm at the MWC
With the MWC show a few weeks away, rumors are hot and heavy that Palm, which stunned the crowd at the recent CES by introducing the Pre smartphone, is aiming for an encore. Speculation is that a GSM/UMTS version of the touchscreen device will be announced. Furthermore, Palm has a web site up at https://palmmwc2009.com/ that is password protected. The guess is that once the page is opened to the public, some wonderful Pre information will be revealed. What news do you see coming from Palm?

are you sure its not just exclusive for a short time?

Doesn't matter, they aren't going to be announcing it for another US carrier prior to launch. Sprint probably does have a short exclusivity window, but that window will most likely be until about September seeing as how the phone will probably launch around April or May.
