What is good new for Asus is not exactly good news for its customers as a lack of supply of the quad-core powered Asus Transformer Prime has forced Amazon to cancel some pre-orders of the tablet; the online retailer started accepting pre-orders for the device in the third week of November...

Well at least we know its in demand. Its not a bad problem to have if you are asus, but they need to get the supply up before people get tired of waiting and look else were.

As expected; as an ex bestbuy manager i saw this coming. the moment i saw the per-orders went up on the bby website on my phone i did it right then and there.

Amazon and Asus should come to some kind of arrangement. Amazon Prime, Transformer Prime... could be a great opportunity for some cross company marketing strategies.
However, I could see that as being construed as anti-competitive collusion.
