I'd assume it would be part of the phone when it launches in the US. Its just an issue since it just launched. Guess they just made this update as they were doing final boxing and only some units got it. No worries.

+1 on expecting the U.S. units of the GN II to ship with dual-screen multi-tasking. With this latest news, I will definitely be getting the GN II. No wonder Apple is wanting to get sales bans in place against Sammy. Sammy is eating Apple's lunch. First the GS III, now this. I can't wait to see the look on the faces of my friends who got iP5s when I pull out the GN II and show them the dual-screen multi-tasking.

Some iPhone users aren't as good as others at masking their jealousy. I know a few who were downright envious when I would see e-mail attachments before they could courtesy of LTE service.

Now they will continue to be envious when I am composing a response while keeping the attachment open on the other window.

dude unfortunately you're wrong, i have a galaxy s3 quadcore and my brother an iphone 5. s3 is so smooth coming out of the box but as you use it it shows occasional lags like scrolling on pages, zooming in/out of photos and you have to kill apps every now and then. however, capacitive buttons react better than my xperia s. as for iphone 5, it's also smooth when it's brandnew, 4 days of using and double clicking the home button shows lag as well. playing graphics intense game however is better in iphone 5. take grand theft auto for example (bcoz there is no infinity blade on the play store)

contrary to some reports, there are reports of many i5s being returned for galaxy devices.

I hope one day there are real numbers on the return rate.

Apple fanatics love the i5. People that know jack squat love the i5. People that look around, do comparisons, or pay attention at all rarely go for an i5.

im on the fence about the size. I thought the SGS3 was a little big. Not sure if I can stomach the Note2 though it has everything I want... IN THE US VERSION.. WOO HOO!!.

The ONLY thing that I can find to bitch about is its size since I dont know if I can deal with it. For me, thats amazing. I find too many flaws in pretty much every phone that disqualify it from personal purchase.
The only other american phone I've had super low complaints about for its time, is my SGS1 that I'm still using.
Im not a fan of compromise at $600+. :)

The GNOTE II did pretty well in the drop test. So I'm not concern with crack etc.. Also Samsung never advertised the GSIII as being a tough phone, there's the Galaxy Rugby for that.

S Beam from my brother's GSIII is as fast as advertised. Try it and see by yourself. =)
