Some Apple iPhone owners complaining of problems with iMessage since iOS 7 update

0. phoneArena 01 Oct 2013, 01:17 posted on

There are members of Apple's Support Communities complaining that since the update to iOS 7, they have been having problems with iMessage; some of the complaints include messages that are not being sent, and messages not being received. The problem doesn't appear to be with Apple;s servers because the messages are supposed to be sent as SMS texts in that scenario, which is not the case...

Whatever happened to things just working? iOS 7 got rushed out the door, maybe?

They were in Beta for a while so that should have been caught but they've come out with patches insanely quick with IOS 7. Hopefully IOS users get a quick fix with this as well.

Armando is a huge android fanboy. I used to follow his YouTube channel. I can see why you use him as a source, which is ironic since your avatar states what you believe your not actually one of.

I don't care if he is a fanboy or not while he talks facts. :)

Chris Pirillo, a very big fan of Apple (tech overall really), even feels like iOS 7 was rushed. He lists all the bugs, inconsistencies, and design flaws in iOS 7 in the description.

I find it ironic an android website is listing iOS 7 bugs.

As if all the apple forums sites don't have users listing them back to back!

You vs. the world.

iOS 7 was rushed. Period.

Not anywhere did I say no one else is experiencing issues or that I thought it wasn't rushed. I was just making a simple statement that I personally haven't experienced any issues with iOS7. Sheesh, you Android people get defensive so quick!

Defensive? When it sounded like you were on the attack.

How did that in any way sound like an attack?..

And before all the hate starts I am an Android user.

Because he said someone was getting defensive after no one started anything. You can attack without inflicting damage. His comment was more like a warning shot.

I use both iPhone and Android and haven't had any problems with texts, browsing, calls, gaming, videos, or lag when using my iPhone. Some ppl just like to read a headline and happily wish it's the end for Apple because they have nothing else to do or that's worthwhile. It's pretty sad.

"I use both iPhone and Android and haven't had any problems with texts, browsing, calls, gaming, videos, or lag when using my iPhone."

And that somehow proves that all these talks about iOS 7 problems is a lie just because you don't have such problems, right?

Just using the same reasoning you have about iOS "lag."

About what reasoning you are talking about? You want say that all people who says that after updating to iOS 7 they're phones started to lag are liars?

Wait wait, what is it i hear? iOS now has bugs?

Oh wait a second - I can't believe it - am I hearing this correctly?! iOS now HAS LAG? ("http://forums.imore.com/iphone-5/262244-ios-7-lag-iphone-5-a.html)

OH wait it gets worse - iOS users now have to MANUALLY CLOSE ACTIVE APPS? (http://www.redmondpie.com/top-28-ios-7-battery-life-saving-tips-guide/)

For those not in the know - for YEARS all the apple fans claimed that iOS is lag-free, that it has no major bugs and that unlike "crapdroid" - you don't have to manage running apps.

I wonder what do they have to say now when their precious OS has turned into what they perceived to be Android back in 2010 and 2011. Except Android doesn't lag and doesn't have any major bugs lol.

It depends on what you do on your phone. I only use my IP4S for call, text and web browser (no games or any of that stuff) and don't experience any lag at all.

Ah but the thing is all the iFans claimed that it's impossible for iOS to lag no matter what.

Karma's a b!tch, isn't it? :)

Don't blame them, majority of Apple users know nothing about the tech. :)

You can throw out as many benchmarks and tests that show 'how much better Android is' but when it comes down to is, Apple users simply just don't care. They want a phone that feels nice, is simple, and works. You think a majority of Apple users care about an open OS or widgets? Does it make you feel better telling yourself you know more about tech than Apple users? We're all laughing at how worked up you get when anything positive is said about Apple because to us, it just doesn't matter! I have my preference and you have yours - that's your right as it is mine.
