Smartphones grab 50% of U.S, mobile market in 2012

comScore's report for 2013 says that smartphones made up 50% of the mobile market in 2012 while tablets also did quite well last year, but the resulting fragmentation means that mobile users are splitting their time up between different mobile devices; other parts of the report include a study that shows that out of each 6 minutes spent on a social networking site, 5 minutes is spent on Facebook...

it should be higher than that since they offer smartphones with contract and cheap prices
