The LG eXpo had a detachable projector and was released in December 2009. Idk if it was the first with a projector though :P http://www.phonearena.com/phones/LG-eXpo_id4268

4 hours during projecting is a really good battery life. Those things suck power like crazy.

Very cool feature I remember them releasing a projector that you could attach to a phone a couple years back and advertised it with one of the big movies at the time avatar or something. Always thought it was a great idea. I think they should offer this option as an accessory, that way it won't push away potential buyers cause adding this can sometimes as pictured above mess with the form of the product which is a HUGE deciding factor for many. Still very cool though. I agree with the poster above soshi the one big factor that would hold me back is that it comes from China.

Although doesnt the Oppo Finder 5 come from China?(albeit probably a more reputable manufacturer but I would definitely five the Oppo 5 a chance if it came to the states.)
