Skyfire brings on former Travelocity CMO to take lead as their CEO
It's no secret that the team over at Skyfire have come along far from their roots with version 1.0 of their web browser being successfully launched last month. They've even managed to expand to other platforms other than Windows Mobile or Symbian – some BlackBerry owners getting a taste of a beta version. The latest announcement is that former CMO for Travelocity, Jeff Gluek, is taking the helm as CEO while co-founder Nitin Bhandari taking the lead as Chief Product Officer. So why Gluek you ask? For starters, his direction took Travelocity to new heights while being awarded “Turnaround Company of the Year” from the American Business Awards. Skyfire is banking on his expertise in taking the company to new heights never before seen. Let's hope his magic will continue to work during his time with one of the leaders in mobile web surfing.
