Skulls of the Shogun – a tactical squad-based strategy, now available for Android

0. phoneArena 08 Aug 2014, 08:31 posted on

Skulls of the Shogun is a turn-based squad-centric tactical strategy, based in feudal Japan times. Well, to be precise, it takes place in the afterlife, during feudal Japan times. You play as a general, who has been betrayed and killed at the end of his last battle, and is now stuck in a purgatory of sorts. It doesn't take long before our hero decides that he is too cool to be treated as a common soul, so he assembles a squad of loyal followers and goes on to march against the guards of this land of the dead, on a mission to prove that he is a true Shogun.

Not Compatible with any of your devices. (Galaxy Note 2 plus some older Galaxy phones)
I hope that is just a google play issue.

This is strange. It tells us it is even compatible with an old Galaxy S i9000 we have. We haven't tested it, though

I sent them (17-bit) an email. While I can view the app on the play store via my PC, the app doesn't even show up on my phone via the play store app. I have never had anything NOT compatible with my Note 2 (Soon to be Note 4...muahah)

Got a reply from the developers:
"Certain Galaxy devices aren't supported at the moment but will hopefully be updating that in 2-3 weeks."
"Borut Pfeife"
Seems weird that some of the most popular android phones are supported from the get go.

It's because Phone Arena is ran by a bunch of biased apes, and they posted the link to the W8 version of the game... Wow!!
.................
No, but the price really is $4.99.. It's because with the "Windows" version you get to use the game on both WP, and W8... It's a universal app.. With WP you buy the app once, and use it on both platforms... Still comes out to the same price as the Android app separately in this case..
