Ski winter? Phone displays that can be used with gloves and nails

0. phoneArena 08 Oct 2013, 09:02 posted on

Nokia might have marketed the gloves-on and fingernail craze with the supersensitive screen on its Lumia 920, but before that we had Sony's Xperia sola which received a glove mode with the Android ICS update. Since then a bunch of major manufacturers jumped on the bandwagon. We are rounding up a few of the smartphones with supersensitive displays that are out and about right now, in case you need to know which ones you can trust heading for the slopes...

Depends on your preference. I own a Xperia Z, so if you like a bigger screen then go with the Z. Its an amazing phone.

Also there are many models in these phones, so choose one with proper bands otherwise, you won't get 3G or 4G LTE.

Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z, Xperia ZR, Xperia V, Xperia Acro S and Xperia Go.

S4 Active.

LG Optimus GJ.

If you someone who love taking picture/video underwater get Z1, ZR, or Acro S.

ZR
Pros
Better screen quality.
Better battery life.
IP58 (ZR) VS IP57 (Z).
Same 13MP Rear Camera with shutter key and Cheaper.

Cons
Low internal memory (8 GB but only about 4.6 GB user available).
VGA Front facing camera.

If you looking for the ultimate waterproof phones for me the only phones that is better than ZR is Xperia Z1.

And the internal memory problem can be fixed by buying an sd card.

S4 Active is a good phone but i think it’s not perfect as a waterproof phone, because if i’m wrong in the aqua mode the camera becomes fixed focus camera and it doesn’t have wet finger tracking technology.

With thin cloth gloves yes, but your galaxy nexus screen will be useless if you wearing leather, rubber or thick gloves
