Siri gets to vocalize her male side for some international Apple iPhone users in iOS 7.1, beta 5
On the heels of a report that we passed along to you yesterday, stating that we are just a few weeks away from the launch of iOS 7.1, a fifth beta has been pushed out that gives Siri a more natural sounding voice in the U.K., Australia and Japan. Apple plans on giving some international iPhone users the option of choosing Siri's gender in iOS 7.1, which means that both male and female voices received updates in iOS 7.1, beta 5.

This follows up on the update to iOS 7 that brought a voice to Siri's male side and added some new capabilities to Apple's virtual voice activated personal assistant. For example, Siri can now open apps and even fetch pictures for you from the photo gallery. You can listen to an example of Siri's new international voice by clicking on the audio link below.

The latest reports have the "gold master" version of iOS 7.1 getting pushed out soon to developers with a public launch due next month.
