With a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, a unknown Samsung branded smartphone has been pictured wearing the T-Mobile brand and the speculation is that this is the SGH-T699 that we talked about last month; while the 5 row QWERTY looks good; the 5MP camera seems so low to mid-range...

What if samsung makes the first hard qwerty device with a 4.3 inch screen? AWSOME!!!! Well for me it would be. This would defenitely be my niche device.

Impossible to have an S4 and be called mid-range.

Well the HTC One S is on the highest echelon of midrange. I mean it is on the verge of loosing all midrangeness and be a low level high end device. lol In all honesty, what makes a phone high end, mid range, or low end is in the eye of the beholder. Most people don't care for specs. If it looks pretty then they will buy it. This could be one of those high echelon midrange devices or a low echelon high end device.

Finally, there is potentially a landscape keyboard slider phone that doesn't suck. I hope there is a variant that is available in Canada soon.

it looks like a updated original galaxy s epic 4G from sprint... not saying it is a bad thing, but with the looks and the 5MP camera, all they are doing is upgrading the screen resolution and processor. That being said, I have the sprint phone and have been very happy with it, so maybe an update is all it needs to be a viable phone for t-mobile.
