Browsing the web in landscape would really be the oly time I would want a virtual one. It just seems like extra work is need if you need to type something while in landscape. You have to turn the phone... slide open the keyboard...type what ever it is you are typing...slide the keyboard back in...then turn the phone on its side again to continue in landscape. They are trying to make a phone that needs a little steps as possible to get things done and that seems like unneed steps to me.

i think the pre is gonna end up taken first in the end. I think the phone will out perform the iphone in many ways. the design isnt ugly but its nothing speacial. compaired to the g1 the pre form factor seems to be more comfee lookin then the lil hump on the g1 during typing. I do agree with the person that was saying the battery life is gonna be wack. Time will tell..

Has anyone seen these videos on Youtube about their user interface? It's awesome! Granted, that I have ONLY tinkered around on my friend's Iphones, I just feel that the intuitiveness of this operating system beats the operating system of the Iphone... But still, as a Verizon customer, I find myself wishing that that Iphone come to Verizon more than a Verizon version of this phone... As for which phone wins??? ::shrug:: Actually it's a question of who LOSES, which are the Verizon customers who haven't heard any news of a cool smartphone coming out this year... My cousin got the Storm, and I have to say, in my humble humble opinion, that, while the Omnia and Storm both serve GREAT business functions, the Omnia seems to be less sluggish than the Storm. For those Verizon customers out there, what do you think about Verizon's lag (if you believe there is any) in acquiring new smartphones for 2009?
